Ancaster Little League

The objective of Ancaster Little League is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy adults.

All Directors, Officers and Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of primary importance.

Kitchener Girls Minor Softball Association

Since 1966 KMGSA has been a community-run volunteer association dedicated to providing exciting opportunities for young girls to play a sport with action, strategy and teamwork. In 1966 the association started with 54 girls and the registration fee was $1. Within 2 years the organization expanded to 279 players and over the years has made its mark as a strong softball organization in Ontario.

KMGSA is affiliated with the City of Kitchener and works to improve girls health while teaching them a great sport and making friendships that will last a lifetime. In 2014 there were over 400 girls between the ages of 5 and 19 that participated in one of KMGSA's programs.

Waterloo Minor Girls Softball Association

The Waterloo Minor Girls Softball Association's main goal is to make softball accessible to everyone. We operate both recreational and competitive leagues and welcome both resident and non-resident players who would often have no other place to play. In order to fulfill our mandate, we offer player development, officiating and coaches' clinics and a stable, well-organized association that provides an opportunity for volunteers to help shape the youth of Waterloo County. The WMGSA has one part-time staff and is largely driven by the over two hundred volunteers who commit their time to our programs.
